IT Technician

Are you looking to join a growing company that focuses on improving the lives of others? Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers is seeking a full-time IT Technician to join our team! The IT Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting our company's IT infrastructure. This position involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing network systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all IT services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft systems and a strong understanding of general IT practices.

This full-time, in-person position will work primarily out of our offices in McLean, VA. We offer a competitive pay range (based on education level and prior experience) PLUS a generous benefits package including 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and medical/dental/vision benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support:

    • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly and efficiently.
    • Assist employees with IT-related inquiries and provide training on system use.
  • System Administration:

    • Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server, etc.).
    • Manage Active Directory, including user account creation, permissions, and group policies.
    • Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and networks through regular updates and backups.
  • Network Management:

    • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
    • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
    • Implement and maintain network security protocols and measures.
  • Software Management:

    • Support the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Office 365 and other business applications.
    • Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Assist in the implementation of new software and system upgrades.
  • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of technical issues, resolutions, and IT inventory.
    • Create and update technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and user guides.
    • Provide regular reports on IT performance, issues, and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support or technician role, preferably in a Microsoft-focused environment.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server, etc.).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
    • Experience with network management and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) is a plus.
    • Understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability for occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed for system maintenance or emergencies.
  • Certification in Microsoft or other IT-related fields is a plus (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals).
